She is the co-founder and director of the organisation Prerana that has done pioneering work in the red-light districts of Mumbai, India to protect children vulnerable to commercial sexual exploitation and trafficking.     We see a lot of discrimination around us, based on gender preference, caste, race, etc. The speaker talked about her organization 'Prerana' which witnessed that there was no adult supervision for adolescents in these areas. The sex workers and the right to dignity of children's both of their rights are being violated. Tribal Identity  in India SPEAKER: Gladson Dungdung DATE: 11th December 2021 TIME: 5:00pm – 6:45pm MODERATOR : Rohit Gupta The session on ‘Tribal identity in India’ was delivered by well-known human rights activist Mr. Gladson Dungdung who is the founder of the Adivasis Publications, Adivasis Hunkar and Jharkhand Human Rights Movement. The speaker began his session by saying how the word ‘Adivasi’ from the beginning, has been used in a very negative sense as a synonym of filth, undisciplined, ill-mannered, etc. According to him, this was done by Aryans to not only establish their supremacy but also to infringe in the minds of tribals an inferiority, similar to what The English did to Indians during their rule. On 10 th December 1948, United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). "Let Nature Be Your Teacher". Nandini Velho worked in 'Pakke Tiger Reserve' situated in Arunachal Pradesh, Eastern Himalayas, for on-ground outreach activities. She is a nature conservationist who has worked closely with local forest managers, policymakers in the Ministry of Environment and Forest. The framework for this session is grounded theories, divided into three parts: 1. Field Work. 2. Social contexts. 3. Emergent works.
