Write For Rights: Inter-collegiate Essay Writing Competition



December 10th is observed as World Human Rights Day. Spreading awareness of our rights as citizens and students has always been a part of our agenda. Hence, continuing this tradition, we are celebrating Human Rights Festival from 9th of December to the 14th of December 2019.

Write For Rights is an inter-collegiate essay writing competition for students, with an aim to encourage the culture of writing, and providing them a platform to express their views and opinions.

Topics:

1) Indian federalism and the abrogation of Article 370 

2) Addressing NRC through a human rights perspective 

3) Privacy in the age of big data 

4) Access to education in the era of privatization

5) Students right as a non-existent priority for university & colleges


Guidelines:
Minimum words – 700 
Maximum word limit – 1500 
Font – Times New Roman 
Font Size – 12 
 
Process for submission: 
All submissions must adhere to the above-mentioned guidelines and should be mailed as an attachment in Word Document format, with subject of the mail as ‘Write For Rights’.
