Fragments of Hope: A Series of Documentary Screenings

"A man devoid of hope and conscious of being has ceased to belong to the future"
  - Albert Camus
Struggles are overwhelming, they churn us and shape us in becoming what we are. They are tiresome and their end result maybe disheartening but to live is to strive for something. What we may strive for may seem beyond grasp at times, one might slip in dungeons of despair but we need to unquenchably hold on to hope.

The Political Science Association & The Film Club presents Fragments of Hope: A series of Documentary Screenings.

These documentaries offer a multi layered understanding on issues of social - political significance. It strengthens our resolve to work for a better world, to not just resist but build alternatives to replace the current moribund systems of political and economic power. As Noam Chomsky has said “We have two choices : to abandon hope and help ensure that the worst will happen or to make use of opportunities that exist and perhaps contribute to a better world.”
Date : 22nd to 28th February, 2020
Time : 11:30 AM
Venue : IT Lab, Wilson College (3rd Floor, Above Canteen)
